He may if the situation calls for it, or if he becomes bored, but elsewise he'll be a mystery to most. Aatu can have a temper at times, but he will attempt to control it as often as he can. He's a bit generous, and lends a hand to those that are in true need of it. He'll fight back if a friend needs it, showing signs of loyalty. He may seem a bit zoned out if he's talking to the spirit that is his friend. He has a kind heart, but he can be a "rock head" [stubborn] sometimes.

02* The ancestor spirit is a female
When Aatu was young, he had quite a few friends. He was a bit popular, and was respected by most people in his pack. He was taught that he was a werewolf by his mother and father, who were also the unique combination of wolf and human. He also had a couple of siblings, one of which was older, the other younger. Only the older one showed that she was a werewolf, but his younger brother had no chance of being a werewolf. His family was somewhat tribal, teaching him to respect his 'ancestors.' He prayed to them many nights for any reason he had, sometimes just because he wanted to honor them. One of his ancestors' spirits stuck to his, and he started seeing an apparition of a blue ghost-like wolf, one of which was full of knowledge and wisdom.
As he started to become friends with this ancestor, he noticed that he was beginning to drag away from his family and friends. He stayed in his room most of the time, and he performed ceremonies and rituals in his room that weren't so expensive to honor them. His parents found out about this, and they started to request he stop, but he drug on. Eventually they came to the mindset that their child had lost his mind, and they threw him out of the house, feeling as though he was going to be a threat for the other two children. The oldest completely disagreed with this, but the younger one agreed, yet still wished him the best of luck.
On his own with only his ancestor's spirit, Aatu began to live out a few more years of his life in isolation. He attacked a few travelers that passed by, mostly for necessities he would need to survive, but otherwise stayed in his den in isolation. He started learning from the ancestor, listening to her words of wisdom as he began to learn to hunt, read, and talk to others. One of the things that he learned was the near ability to control his form changing from human into a wolf, though because of a failure the first time, he could only control a partial amount of the change, in which he realized he liked the partial change. It not only gave him characteristics of a wolf, which made it easier to survive, but it also gave him the oppurtunity to shed his human origins.
Over more time, he realized, eventually, that he couldn't continue to live his life in isolation, so he decided to start travelling the world.
